National Association on Mental Illness

NAMI Cape Cod & The Islands serves individuals and their families who are affected by the broad spectrum of mental illnesses and neurological disorders through support, education and advocacy, and promotes wellness for all.

Habitat for Humanity

Habiitat for Humanity Cape COd

On October 1, 1988 Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod was founded as an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. Dick and Phoebe Soule of Orleans first brought the idea of a Habitat affiliate to Cape Cod. Our first home was dedicated in Wellfleet in November 1989. Since that time, we have built at least one home in every town on Cape Cod and all 15 towns have donated at least one land parcel. From day one, we have tithed 10% of our unrestricted donations to build Habitat homes in developing nations.

Book discussion of the 100th Anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment finally giving women the right to vote and adding Suffrage Amendment being added to the Constitution of the United States, with reflections from women featured in the book “WE The Resilent.

Green Road Refill’s mission is to help pave the way to a more sustainable lifestyle for our customers. Green Road offers a mobile retail and refill experience that promotes ethically and earth-conscious products for a better body, home, and planet.

AAUW CAPE COD’S SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISER

BOOK & AUTHOR TEA

A local scholarship was started with a $25 grant to a girl attending Cape Cod Community College. AAUW Cape Cod now give a $2,000 scholarship to a local woman so that she can complete her baccalaureate.
