AAUW Cape Cod Branch has many projects going on during this 2015- 2016 year.
We are focused on Title IX and getting all school systems on the Cape and Islands to have their Title IX officer identified and the law in their hands. Marsha Fredericks made the 17 copies needed of themulti-paged law and our members are delivering it to their Superintendents. We want the law adhered to for the success of all children and students from K -12 and beyond.
We will be having our bi-annual Book and Author Tea to help raise funds for the branches LAF and Ed fund. It will be held on June 21, 2016 at the Cape Codder Hotel. Tickets are $40. Please contact Phyllis Rubin at email@example.com for more information and a list of the four participating authors, look at the June Newsletter in our website.
Last, we will be having a jewelry sale to raise funds for branch activities and we encourage you to donate any of your slightly used broken, and especially good jewelry for us to sell. Helpers are needed to repair and clean, price, and tag all the jewelry donated.
